Hi everyone,

Lately I’ve been trying to keep track of how many hours I spend gaming vs. working, and I’m curious how others do it. Sometimes I lose track of time during long sessions, and it messes with my schedule.

Some people use Steam’s built-in playtime stats, while others go for spreadsheets or apps. Personally, I’ve been using a simple web-based tool (https://ecalculadoradehoras.com/) that just calculates hours between start and end times it’s basic, but helpful when I want a quick log without complicated software.

My questions for the community:

  • Do you actively track your gaming hours?
  • Do you think it helps with productivity or balance?
  • Any favorite tools or methods you’d recommend?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Don't really track the time with my hours , I just play until I'm bored ...for mainly a couple hours at most. The 3ds had a pretty good feature which kept a record of all your playthroughs through your library.

I don’t keep track of how many hours I’ve put in. I just play whatever I feel like gaming, don’t have a steady schedule from work, changes weekly and my game life changes from week to week, rarely the same.

The only time I ever play is at the end of the day for an hour or two before bed, or for a few hours at night on Saturday/Sunday. I typically don't play games during the day because for me, daylight is for productivity and night is for personal time.
