The Clawline Grappling Hook can be found in The Cauldron, which is a large chamber in the Underworks. That said, you still need to find a White Key, as well as the mechanism that it activates.

The map above shows the location of the Hollow Knight: Silksong Grappling Hook ability. Here's a quick summary:

• You must first pick up the White Key. It's in the Songclave subzone in the top-right portion of the Choral Chambers. It's just outside the First Shrine building.
• Once you have the White Key, you have to head to the lower-left tower/vertical chamber in Choral Chambers. The door below has a Caduceus-esque crystalline symbol. Enter it and interact with the elevator panel by using the White Key.
• The elevator takes you to Whiteward, where you have to follow the loop from below until you reach the sheer drop at the right-hand side of the zone.

This part of the Underworks is filled with hazards, so you need to be ready. Basically, there are platforms made of scorching lava. If you stay on them for too long, your character will take damage. But if you keep jumping, you should remain safe. There are also several exploding enemy mobs and lava falls from ceilings.

If you make it to The Cauldron, all you need to do is keep heading left as you cross the lava pool. Use your air dashes and pogo maneuver to avoid getting burned to death. Once you're next to the altar, you can interact with it to receive the Clawline.

The Hollow Knight: Silksong Clawline Grappling Hook has several nifty uses:

• When activated, the hook will latch onto (a) enemies, (b) surfaces, and (c) rings.
• If latching onto surfaces and rings, Hornet will grab hold of these objects similar to performing a wall climb action.
