All Shakra Map Locations In Hollow Knight: Silksong

Are you curious about the locations of all Shakra maps in Hollow Knight: Silksong? This particular NPC sells several items that help with exploration. That said, she does travel from place to place, so you really need to find her.

All Shakra map locations in Hollow Knight: Silksong - Where to find all maps

Shakra can be found in most regions in the game's world. You can then talk to her to buy her wares. However, take note that she moves to another location depending on how far you've progressed in the campaign. For instance, if you've defeated that region's boss, then she might travel to the next zone.

There are also a few additional things to note:

• If Shakra is nearby, you'll hear someone humming a tune.
• The maps that Shakra sells only show a blurry outline of the zone. You have to purchase a Quill and then rest a bench. This will form more solid lines in the rooms that you've already visited.
• You may also buy a Compass to show Hornet's icon on the map.
• Markers help you remember spots on the map, while pins show icons of other points of interest.

Note: Don't fret if you somehow miss Shakra in a particular location. If you meet her again in the next zone, then she likely has the maps/items that you missed.

• Location: Circle around the large chamber with spike traps. Eventually, you'll hear someone humming. Note that this location also leads to the Bell Beast encounter.

• Location: This Hollow Knight: Silksong Shakra location is actually in the eastern part of the Bone Bottom settlement. Just jump up the ledges to see this NPC. Note that Shakra moves here only after you've beaten the Bell Beast.
• New item: Bellway Pins

• Location: You'll run into Shakra once more in Deep Docks. From the entrance connected to The Marrow, keep going right until you enter a large chamber. He's down below along the left-hand side.

• Location: Once you're done with the Deep Docks objective, you'll find yourself in the Far Fields zone. There's a section here with a singular tall chamber that has wind currents. Shakra is in a small room to the right.

• Location: This Shakra map in Hollow Knight: Silksong is fairly easy to find. First, you need the Drifter's Cloak so you can float via the wind currents straight to Greymoor. At the main area, keep going right until you spot Shakra.
• New item: Greymoor Map

• Location: This one might be a doozy, but here goes:
  • From Greymoor, you need to beat the Moorwing boss to gain access to the Haunted Bellhart.
  • Exit that area to reach Shellwood.
  • Follow the top-left path until you see an elevator.
  • Ride the elevator down to the lake. Shakra is in the lower-left passageway.
• New items:

  • Shellwood Map

• Location: Shakra appears at the middle-right section of Bellhart once you've defeated the Widow boss. This also frees the citizens from their curse, unlocking additional vendors.
• New items: N/A - By the time we met Shakra in this area, she's no longer selling additional stuff.

• Location: You can reach the Wormways zone via Shellwood (normal path) or Mosshome/Bone Bottom (if you have a Simple Key). If it's the former, then you simply need to take the exit in the lower-left portion of Shellwood. Float across the large gap until you land on the opposite ledge. This leads to the Wormways, an area that's filled with spikes, disappearing platforms, and, of course, worms that drop from the ceiling. Shakra is in the first chamber in this zone.
• New item: Wormways Map

• Location: You'll gain access to the Hunter's March region upon defeating the Skarrgard miniboss at the rightmost section of The Marrow. There are two Hollow Knight: Silksong Shakra map vendor locations in this zone:
  • Gauntlet room - If you keep following the path to the right, you'll stumble upon a room where you have to battle several enemies. The good thing is that Shakra joins the fight, too. After the bout is over, you can purchase some goodies from her.
  • Just before the Chapel of the Beast - If you already entered the Wormways zone, then Shakra won't appear during the gauntlet encounter mentioned above. Instead, just keep following the path to the right until you reach a vertical shaft. Shakra will be waiting for you in the lower-right room just before the Chapel of the Beast. The location has the Savage Beastfly boss fight and Crest of the Beast.
• New items:

• Location: Upon reaching the middle portion of Blasted Sands, you should hear her humming when you enter the lower part of the large area to the right.
• New item: Blasted Steps Map

• Location: Sands of Karak has some of the most brutal platforming sections in the game. Several sections are filled with endless traps and disappearing branches, as well as annoying enemies. As for Shakra, you need to reach the end of the first long corridor. She's in the room along the left-hand side of the central tower.

• Location: We discussed two zones, Mount Fay and The Slab, in our Faydown Cloak/Double Jump guide. That's because the Double Jump ability is the main reason why you'd go to those regions in the first place. In any case, Shakra is just past the starting point of Mount Fay. There's a bench next to her so you can feel warm and survive the cold temperatures.
• New items:

  • Bronze Marker

• Location: The Hollow Knight: Silksong Shakra location in Sinner's Road is actually in a peculiar spot. You're going to see a caged mantis, one that you can free if you have a Simple Key. Just above that and to the left, there's a bench signboard. Enter the passageway and pogo over the spiked pendulum to meet up with Shakra. Oddly enough, there's a bench that you can spawn but it'll get stuck. The only way to repair it is by doing an unbearably difficult platforming section.
• New item: Sinner's Road Map

• Location: The central shaft of Bilewater is filled with large bile-spewing enemies that fly around. That portion requires skillful wall-jumping and grappling. At the halfway point, you'll see an opening to the right. Shakra is waiting for you in the small chamber.

Assuming you've obtained all Shakra maps in Hollow Knight: Silksong, then your old pal has one last treat for you. Unfortunately, you need to put in a lot of effort. Here's a quick summary:

• Make sure you buy all of Shakra's maps in every location. These do not include the maps from the devices in the Citadel.
• Return to Bellhart and check the bounty board. You'll see a quest called Trail's End.
• Start the quest and go back to Bilewater. You should see golden rings in some of the rooms. You can track these to follow Shakra's footsteps, but it's not necessary. You can see the marked location in the image above. It's in the top-right corner of the zone.
• This trek will be extremely challenging because of countless hazards. You need to contend with everything from bile-belching giant insects, lengthy pogo platforming sections, and maggot-filled pools of water.
• Upon reaching the top-right corner of Bilewater, a path should open up leading to a hidden area. Shakra will tell you that it's the resting place of her master. Hold the button prompt so you can play your Needolin as Shakra pays her respects.
• Shakra will then reward you with the Throwing Ring, a tool that lets you toss a projectile that bounces/ricochets off surfaces and enemies.
