Are you wondering about the locations of all Lost Fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong? These little critters have been scattered all over the lower depths of Pharloom. Now, Hornet has to go and find all of them. Our guide has all the details that you need, so strap in and get ready for a long trek.
Where to find all Lost Fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong
The Lost Fleas wish/side quest comes from a group of NPCs led by Fleamaster Mooshka. You'll find these fellas in a zone called The Marrow. From the lower section, you need to climb up past the spike traps and platforms. You should then see a flea signboard to your left. The encampment also has a bench that you can rest on to replenish your health.
Note 1: Our Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Fleas guide is organized based on each region. We've included insets in case only a single critter can be found in an area. We've also added full maps if there are two or more Lost Fleas in a zone.
Note 2: While you can rescue some of these Lost Fleas early on, many others are in hard-to-reach places. We advise you to obtain the Clawline Grappling Hook and Faydown Cloak Double Jump to help with traversal.
Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea - The moving caravan and rewards
The Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Fleas objective is actually a multi-stage quest. Whenever you gather a bunch of critters, you can talk to Fleamaster Mooshka to see if a reward is waiting for you.
For instance, after saving five Lost Fleas, Mooshka will say that the caravan will be traveling to a new location. You can hop on for a ride that takes you to the Greymoor region. Upon arriving there, an NPC named Grishkin will give you the Flea Brew, a special concoction that increases movement and attack speed when consumed. You can always return to Grishkin to refill this item.
Mooshka will also tell you to keep rescuing other Lost Fleas that you encounter on your journey. In short, the Flea Caravan will move to new locations for each "threshold"--i.e. total number of rescues--that you reach.
Lost Flea #1: The Marrow
To get this Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea, you must reach the top of the central chamber--i.e. it's the one to the right of the corridors with the fast travel point and bench.
The area above that is filled with spike traps and disappearing platforms. But, if you're careful, you should be able to get to the top-right portion where the Lost Flea is trapped. Just slash at the vines to free it.
Deep Docks map: Lost Fleas A, B, and C
The map above shows the locations of three Lost Fleas in the Deep Docks zone. Fleas A and B can be found early in the campaign. Flea C, meanwhile, requires a Simple Key.
Lost Flea #2: Deep Docks A
This Lost Flea is fairly easy to find... if you know where to look, that is. Basically, you just need to be at the fast travel point in Deep Docks. There's a destructible wall to the left of the Bell Beast. Pass through the hidden opening and you'll arrive at a large area with flowing lava and a few enemies. Jump up the ledges and cross the gap, all while avoiding the searing hot liquids, to spot the Lost Flea.
Lost Flea #3: Deep Docks B
This Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea is also in the Deep Docks region. You must progress further into the campaign until you acquire the Swift Step power from the shrine. Once you have it, make use of your newfound air dash ability to reach the upper-left section of the same room.
Lost Flea #4: Deep Docks C
You'll have a fairly eventful time trying to find the third Lost Flea in Deep Docks. Basically, you need a Simple Key so you can open the ornate door below the vendor/bench.
From there, glide down and grapple the ring to unlock a large gate. You then have to circle around, well past numerous enemies, lava pools, and spikes, until you reach a chamber with a gauntlet battle. The Lost Flea is in a small nook just above that.
Far Fields map: Lost Fleas A and B
The map above shows the locations of two Lost Fleas in Far Fields.
Lost Flea #5: Far Fields A
Okay, this one can be quite a doozy:
- Far Fields has a large vertical chamber in the center. You need to go through one of the lower corridors to the left.
- This path has an exit at the top-left portion, which then loops back to the right.
- There's an opening to the right that has a dark tunnel. You'll get encased in a bone trap as you go further inside, so just destroy it and defeat the enemy that appears.
- Once that's done, you should be able to free the hapless critter.
Lost Flea #6: Far Fields B
If you thought the above was a doozy, wait 'til you hear about the other Lost Flea in this zone. From the Bellway fast travel point, sprint to the right so you can squeeze through the hidden opening. You then have to ride wind currents, pogo on flowers, and avoid red spikes on the walls.
At the very end, you'll find the Lost Flea to your right. There's a Rhinogrund elite that guards the chamber to the left. Defeat it so you can unlock a shortcut back to the bench and vendor.
Greymoor map: Lost Fleas A, B, and C
There are three Lost Fleas in the Greymoor zone. The first one can be saved early on, but the other two require abilities like the grapple and double jump.
Lost Flea #7: Greymoor A
To find this particular Lost Flea, you must head to the bottom-right section of Greymoor. That area has several balloons. You can bounce off of these by doing a "pogo" maneuver--i.e. jump up and do a downward slash. When you're almost halfway to the top, glide to the right until you see a caged creature. Hit the lever at the bottom to free it.
Lost Flea #8: Greymoor B (Kratt)
This particular Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea actually has a name: Kratt. You'll find him in the top-right portion of the central area just below the exit to Sinner's Road. Free him and, once he rejoins the Flea Caravan, you'll gain access to a spa that refreshes Hornet.
Lost Flea #9: Greymoor C
The third Lost Flea in Greymoor is at the top of the tower at the left-hand side of the zone. Here's the kicker: You need to loop around from the right, and then do a bit of pogoing on enemies and spikes, just to get to that spot.
Lost Flea #10: Shellwood
This Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea is in the central chamber of Shellwood. It's actually just past the room where you encounter Shakra the map vendor. Trying to get it, though, might be fairly challenging. That's because you need to pogo via the white flowers, all while avoiding spikes and enemies. Note that a Mask Shard that helps upgrade your maximum HP is also nearby.
Lost Flea #11: Bellhart
To find this Lost Flea, you must defeat the Sister Splinter boss in Shellwood. This opens a path to the Cling Grip--i.e. wall climb--ability shrine. Here's what you need to do next:
- After getting Cling Grip, go to the right side exit--i.e. to the right of the Sister Splinter's arena or at the top-right section of the main elevator/bench.
- This takes you to a side passage in Bellhart.
- Avoid/pogo on the bell-covered enemies until you reach the top-left corner of the narrow passageways.
Lost Flea #12: Wormways
The path to the Wormways can be opened if you've gotten past Shellwood. Alternatively, you can use a Simple Key on the gate near Mosshome. At the central vertical shaft, look for a breakable wall that you can destroy. This leads to a small chamber where you'll see that a flea has been captured by a flying bug. Defeat that enemy to free the critter.
Lost Flea #13: Blasted Sands
You must head to the top section of the Blasted Sands zone. In the corridor with the bench and fast travel point--i.e. just before the entrance to the Citadel--make a left and climb up the walls.
Lost Flea #14: Sands of Karak
The Sands of Karak has some of the most challenging platforming sections in the entire game. The Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea in this zone is at the central horizontal corridor. If you look at the ceiling, you'll see an opening but the walls are lined with spikes. The idea is to spawn the tree branches so you can jump on those, and then pogo off enemies to reach the upper walls.
Lost Flea #15: Hunter's March
If you want to rescue this particular Lost Flea, then you need to beat the Skarrgard miniboss at the rightmost edge of The Marrow. This giant ant is a fairly dangerous foe since his attacks deplete not one but two health pips/icons.
Once you've taken him out, you'll gain access to the Hunter's March region. In the first vertical chamber, check the top-left area. Pogo via the red flowers and avoid the spikes to reach this critter.
Lost Flea #18: Sinner's Road
This Lost Flea is at the right-hand side of Sinner's Road. It's inside a cell that you need to destroy.
The Slab map: Lost Fleas A and B
You can see a map of The Slab, a prison area at the top-left section of Pharloom. We discussed this area briefly in our Faydown Cloak/Double Jump guide.
To reach this zone, you can either get captured by a Wardenfly enemy in Deep Docks, or you could keep heading left from the Choral Chamber upon reaching the Citadel. Note that, if captured, Hornet will lose her gear and you have to retrieve your items.
Lost Flea #17: The Slab A
You're likely to visit The Slab if you want to obtain the Faydown Cloak Double Jump ability. As for the Lost Flea, it's in the central-left section of this zone. Just past the cells, you'll see a door that you can enter. Check it out and free the creature.
Lost Flea #18: The Slab B
Continue to the bottom of The Slab until you stumble upon a corridor with a Bellway fast travel point and a bench. Proceed to Mount Fay until you obtain the Faydown Cloak ability.
Once you're able to double jump, return to the bench. Look above the bench and, even though it's quite dark, you'll notice that there's a well-hidden opening. Leap toward the wall, then grapple in mid-air, followed by a double jump, so you can grip the surface at the top.
Lost Flea #19: Mount Fay
While you're on your way to the peak of the mountain to unlock the Double Jump ability, you might notice the spot seen in the image above. The ceiling is actually fake. You can jump and grapple to cling on the wall. Break the ice in the upper room to free the creature.
Bilewater map: Lost Fleas A, B, and C
The Bilewater map above shows the locations of three more Lost Fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Note that Bilewater is one of the most dangerous regions in the game due to various environmental hazards, including maggot-ridden waters that drain your silk energy. You'll have no choice but to heal or rest on a bench to get rid of the status effect. Worse, there are lots of vicious enemies and insidious traps, too.
Lost Flea #20: Bilewater A
This particular Lost Flea is actually in the Exhaust Organ sub-zone. You can reach it via Bilewater, but we suggest going there by way of Sinner's Road. You then need to escape the Mist to arrive at this location. Once you exit the "tower" portion, go to the left to find this fella.
Lost Flea #21: Bilewater B
This Lost Flea is in the lower-right section of Bilewater. It's surrounded by a couple of Snitchfly enemies. Don't get hit by them since they'll pilfer your Rosaries. You'd have to recollect all the currency that they've grabbed from you.
Lost Flea #22: Bilewater C
The third Bilewater Lost Flea is at the upper-right corner of the region. It's fairly close to your destination if you're doing Shakra's personal quest. There's a part in this chamber where the ceiling is actually fake. You can pass through it to reach a hidden corridor. Jump to the left and avoid the two spiked ball traps that collide.
Choral Chamber map: Lost Fleas A and B
You'll find a couple of Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Fleas in the Choral Chamber zone of the Citadel. Note that both of them are in the left-hand section of the area.
Lost Flea #23: Choral Chamber A
Check the leftmost vertical chamber--i.e. the one just above the Citadel Spa. There's a room with spike floors and platforms that move inward and outward. Jump across these ledges and take out enemies along the way.
Lost Flea #24: Choral Chamber B
This time, head to the second vertical chamber. It's the one with slanting walls lined with spikes and a path that leads to the Great Taste of Pharloom NPC. Don't mind the quest for now. Instead, take a look at the walls along the right-hand side of the entire tower. A couple of these are breakable. Destroy the one below so you can create a wind current. Then, check the other one to ride that wind current to a nook that has this hapless fella.
Whispering Vaults map: Lost Fleas A and B
There are two Lost Fleas in the Whispering Vaults sub-zone. Lost Flea B can only be reached via a secret passage, which we've marked with a star symbol in the image above. Oh, and expect lots of platforming shenanigans, too.
Lost Flea #25: Whispering Vaults A
Go to the large room to the left of the main shaft in Whispering Vaults. You can strike the blocks to move them sideways or upwards, creating ledges that you can climb. Then, when you're at the topmost platform, you need to cling onto the wall on the left. From there, double jump, grapple, and glide to the far-right corner.
Lost Flea #26: Whispering Vaults B (Songclave exterior)
This Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea is actually in an open area outside the Songclave settlement. Here's what you need to do:
- The hidden path is at the right-hand side of Whispering Vaults. This is also the passageway that you take to reach the secret area within Bilewater. You can refer to our Twisted Bud/Cursed Ending guide for more details about that.
- From Whispering Vaults, you'll reach a section with cog wheels and traps. If you drop down the chasm, you'll fall straight to Bilewater. However, for the Lost Flea, you must glide to the right instead. This section is filled with numerous spiked walls and floors.
- At the very bottom, there's a plate that unlatches the coverings. If you strike the device multiple times, it will create a wind current that you can ride back to the top.
- Keep climbing up until you reach Songclave's exterior. Stay along the right-hand side (as seen in the image above), and do a double jump and grapple to cling on the wall. Head further upward until you spot the Lost Flea.
Lost Flea #27: Underworks
At first glance, the Lost Flea in the Underworks might seem like it's fairly close to the Citadel Lift that you can use for fast travel. But you actually need to take the long way around. Shortly thereafter, you'll enter a corridor with lava floors and exploding insects. Sprint past them and survive to reach this critter.
Lost Flea #28: Memorium
Check out the Memorium and keep climbing until you come across a room with machines that channel purple lightning. Just past that, there's a ledge that allows you to climb to the topmost corridor. It leads to the Lost Flea in this area, albeit one that's actually a "big boi."
As you approach, it will attack you, so be ready for a fight. Its attacks are easily telegraphed since it mostly just flies in a straight line. You can also time your pogo maneuvers to hit it numerous times.
Lost Flea #29: Wisp Thicket
The process to save this Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea is a bit more complex than the rest, so here goes:
- You must reach the Wisp Thicket sub-zone, which is connected to the top-left exit of Greymoor. It's actually fairly close to the third Lost Flea in Greymoor that we mentioned earlier in our guide.
- From the Wisp Thicket bench, make a left until you reach the center of the room. There are flame-spewing lanterns, some balloons, and a Rosary in this area.
- Keep hitting the ceiling to open up a hidden path. Do a bit of platforming until you arrive at another section with a Craftmetal node.
- Break the wall to your left and enter the passageway. This takes you to a portion of the Underworks that's previously inaccessible. The goal here is to carefully move across the room while avoiding the rotating spiked blocks. The Lost Flea is in the far corner of this chamber.
Putrefied Ducts map: Lost Flea (Vog) and Fleatopia
The Putrefied Ducts can be accessed via Memorium. There's also another way to reach it via Bilewater, though the passageway remains blocked until you circle around using the Memorium path.
In any case, you can see that we've marked some points-of-interest on the map:
- Vog is an NPC who joins the Flea Caravan once you've met her.
- The Fleatopia is the spot where the Flea Caravan should move to.
Lost Flea #30: Putrefied Ducts (Vog)
There's another Lost Flea in Hollow Knight: Silksong that has a name. This person, Vog, is a huntress. Here's what you need to do reach her:
- At the bottom horizontal corridor in Putrefied Ducts, go to the right-hand side and look for a breakable wall near the center.
- Hop on the ledges so you can go to the room at the top.
- A vine enemy will pull you upward, taking you to a secret path.
- Do a bit of platforming--i.e. let the vine enemies pull you upward but don't get gobbled up.
- Vog is in the room at the end. You can destroy the obstacle on the floor to drop back down to the fast travel point and bench.
Note: Once the Flea Caravan moves to Putrefied Ducts (mentioned below), Vog will make her way there. She'll offer a nifty service: If you pay her Rosaries, she'll reveal the locations of the remaining Lost Fleas that you haven't found yet.
Fleatopia Caravan rewards and secret ending requirement
As mentioned earlier, Mooshka and the Flea Caravan move to new locations whenever you reach a "rescue threshold." Here's a summary:
- Marrow to Greymoor - Rescue at least five Lost Fleas.
- Greymoor to Blasted Sands/Grand Gate - Rescue at least 15 Lost Fleas.
- Blasted Sands/Grand Gate to Putrefied Ducts - Rescue at least 25 Lost Fleas.
The Flea Caravan reaching the Putrefied Ducts is actually a hidden requirement for one of the game's secret endings. Of course, there are other activities that you need to tackle. At the very least, this is the hardest and most time-consuming part, so don't fret about the other factors. You can learn more about these tidbits in our Silk and Soul/Snared Silk ending guide.
Now, let's say you've found all 30 Lost Fleas in the game. For your efforts, you'll receive the following goodies:
- Egg of Flealia - A blue tool that decreases the cost of silk-based skills if your health is full.
- Flea Festival - The peeps at the caravan celebrate your deeds. Go to Bellhart and check the bounty board for a quest called Ecstasy of the End. Then, head back to the Flea Caravan to partake in several minigames. You can even obtain a Pale Oil weapon upgrade if you win.
That does it for our guide on where to find all Lost Fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue exploring so you can find more goodies, such as Mask Shards and Spool Fragments.
